2023 Para Division National Champions
Adaptive Fusion is proud to have won gold medals at the Club Crew National Championships in 2019 and 2021, and silver medals at the Club Crew World Championships in 2022. The club grew and trained hard the following year, and recently won all gold medals at the 2023 Club Crew National Championships in Sarasota, Florida. This earned them a berth to compete in the Paradragon division at the next Club Crew World Championships in Ravenna, Italy September 2024.

Adaptive Fusion Paddlers Selected for 2023 Club Crew World Championships in Pattay, Thailand
2023 was the first year that Paradragons was included as a division in the IDBF Dragon Boat World Championships recently held in Pattaya, Thailand. Eight members of Adaptive Fusion were selected to Team USA Paradragons as Para paddlers, Support paddlers and in national leadership roles. They trained, attended camps in Arizona and Florida with other teammates from around the country, and joined the 50 Paradragons contingent to represent the US in Thailand.

Adaptive Fusion Dragon Boat Club was born in 2018 from the “fusion” of paddlers coming together from two para dragon boat clubs; Blind Start (formed in 2010) and Deaf Dawn formed in 2013).
Despite many team members having physical, mental or sensory challenges, the mission since their formation has been to "inspire and promote the growth of adaptive dragon boat teams and compete at the highest level".
